NRG Radio is East Africa’s fastest-growing youthful multimedia brand. We blend radio, digital, and on-ground platforms to drive youth culture, entertainment, and branded experiences. Our mission is to redefine engagement and connect brands with the urban youth of Africa.

The Role:
We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Head of Commercial to lead and grow revenue across on-air advertising, digital campaigns, and experiential activations. This senior role requires a dynamic sales leader with deep market insight, strong industry relationships, and a passion for youth-focused innovation. The position offers growth potential across African markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies across radio, digital, and BTL platforms.

• Build and manage a high-value pipeline of media and brand partnerships.

• Oversee key client accounts, drive upselling, and ensure retention.

• Customize digital and experiential solutions that deliver a measurable return on investment (ROI).

• Use data and social insights to drive campaign effectiveness.

• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling brand packages.

• Represent NRG to agencies, media buyers, and government stakeholders.

• Track market trends and adapt strategies for competitive advantage.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in senior sales/commercial roles (media, entertainment, or advertising).

• Proven track record in closing high-value digital and experiential deals.

• Strong network across agencies, brands, and media buyers.

• Data-savvy with strong commercial acumen and funnel conversion experience.

• Creative, emotionally intelligent, self-motivated, and target-driven.
