⚽ CHAN 2024 🇺🇬 🇰🇪 🇹🇿 : East Africa’s Football Party is On!

The 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) is heating up, and the vibes are electric! Africa’s best homegrown footballers are showing off their skills across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This isn’t just a tournament, it’s a full-on celebration of football, culture, and East African unity.

For the first time ever, CHAN is being hosted by three countries at once: Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. That’s a major flex for African football, showing the region can handle big events like pros. Games are happening in five iconic stadiums across Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kampala, and Zanzibar, giving fans plenty of hotspots to catch the action. How It Works & Who’s Leading

There are 19 teams split into four groups. The top two from each group move to the knockout rounds. As of August 17, 2025, the group stage is serving up fireworks and shocking results.

Group A
    1.    Kenya – 10 points (4 games) – The Harambee Stars are unstoppable! They sealed top spot with a 2-0 victory over Zambia.
    2.    Morocco – 7 points (4 games) – Drew 1-1 with DR Congo to secure qualification.
    3.    DR Congo – 7 points (4 games) – Missed out on qualification by goal difference despite a strong fight.
    4.    Angola – 4 points (4 games) – Out of the tournament.

Group B
    1.    Tanzania – 9 points (3 games) – Sitting pretty on top with a game in hand.
    2.    Mauritania – 7 points (4 games) – Waiting to see if they’ll sneak through.
    3.    Madagascar – 4 points (3 games)
    4.    Burkina Faso – 3 points (3 games)

Group C
    1.    Uganda – 6 points (3 games) 🇺🇬 – The Cranes are leading the pack and making fans proud! The team has shown serious grit and flair, and the atmosphere in Kampala is electric. With their next big clash against South Africa tomorrow, all eyes are on them to keep flying high.
